ABOUT US
Founded by Patrick Reynolds, PE, SE in January 2018, REYN Engineering, Inc. was established to provide quality structural engineering services to a diverse mix of clients. REYN has been hired by architects, developers, contractors and individuals to perform a wide variety of structural engineering tasks.
REYN uses a team first approach on all projects. Coordination and communication with architects, contractors and other consultants is necessary for successful projects. Our experience and knowledge of structural components and their interaction with the building allow us to identify key coordination items and design challenges early on. We examine multiple solutions for every design challenge throughout the construction process, working with the entire team to choose the best solution for the job.
REYN Engineering, Inc.’s staff is led by our leadership team of Patrick Reynolds, Tyler Miller, and Amanda Bartelson who provide over 40 years of combined structural engineering experience. We integrate current design trends and construction practices with developed programs and 3D structural engineering analysis software to provide efficient design solutions. Our drawings are produced using the BIM software REVIT. We routinely work in the cloud, allowing real-time collaboration with our clients and other disciplines.

Patrick Reynolds,
PE, SE
A graduate of Bradley University, Patrick began his career as a bridge engineer in Missouri before moving to Milwaukee and working for several local structural engineering firms. Experienced in many different project types and structural materials, he enjoys the ingenuity outlet that REYN Engineering, Inc. provides. He lives in Wauwatosa, WI with his wife and two children.
Tyler Miller,
PE
Tyler joined REYN Engineering, Inc. in May of 2018. He has designed many structures, including, multi-family buildings, retail, industrial, office, hotels, educational, libraries, municipal, senior living and religious buildings. He has a strong design background in wood (conventional and heavy timber), structural steel, masonry, cold-formed and concrete. Tyler is REYN Engineering, Inc.’s lead designer for all post-tensioned concrete projects.
Amanda Bartelson,
PE, SE, LEED AP BD+C
Amanda enjoys working with all members of the design team to coordinate structural solutions for every project. With a vast understanding of Revit software, Amanda appreciates the advantages of live collaboration across all disciplines. Since her years studying at Milwaukee School of Engineering, Amanda has held a place in her heart for Milwaukee and still looks forward to every visit. Now located in the Madison Area, Amanda enjoys hands-on projects fixing up her century-old farmette with her husband and spending time in the garden with her children.
